Queen Dani is a sophomore at Illinois State University in Normal, IL majoring in Public Relations/Communications. Her goal is to work in corporate communication with a focus on event planning. Dani graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 2011.
Dani is a member of the Delta Zeta sorority of ISU. She began cheering and tumbling on a competitive level at age 8 and continued cheering throughout high school as a four year member of the LCHS varsity basketball cheer team as well as football and competitive cheer teams. Dani was also a member of the dive team, French Club, O.N.E. Club, REALITY Illinois, PEP Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the high school yearbook staff. She also served as a Lincoln High School office helper. Dani has been a volunteer for the Lincoln Art and Balloon Festival, the Logan County Fair, the Logan County Humane Society and the American Red Cross. She has also volunteered for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Springfield Walk to Defeat ALS, Relay for Life, March of Dimes and Chester East Lincoln School.
Dani’s special honors include: Honor Roll, Pat O’Neill Student of the Month, Lincoln Community High School Homecoming Queen and was subsequently named the Illinois High School Homecoming Queen. Dani was also named to the UCA All-Star Cheer squad for numerous years.
Dani is the daughter of Mark & Becky Juilfs of Lincoln.
